From 16 August 2020 students will continue distance learning until the end of phase 3
The beginning of back to the campus for students will be after successfully entering to phase 4 of the gradually reopening plan

There will be no changes in Academic calendar 2020/2021

All academic policies and procedures will be applied

Qatar University announced the most important directives and guidelines that the university has taken to ensure that students gradually return to study in the fall 2020 semester. In accordance with the current situation of the gradually reopening plan imposed by the State of Qatar as a result of the Corona pandemic (Covid-19).
Dr. Eiman Mustafawi - Vice President for Student Affairs indicated that the academic year would start on the specified date according to the academic calendar, on August 16, 2020, however the approved education pattern will be followed until the end of the third stage of lifting restrictions imposed in the State of Qatar will be distance education without students attending classes on campus.
She added that the university will announce the details for further steps for a gradual transformation from distance learning to campus learning, which is expected to take place after the successful entry into the phase 4 of the country plan on 1 September 2020. Where the decision to study in the campus will be applied directly to all students, except Some categories of students, who are more susceptible to contracting the disease and its complications (chronic disease patients and pregnant women), and the exception remains in effect until the state announces the possibility of their return and any related procedures.
During the current situation, Dr. Eiman stated, “The students need to be prepared to deal with the courses taught in any manner of learning, such as distance learning completely, or learning in the usual way, or both. According to the circumstances dictated and required by the public interest.”
She also obtains her great confidence in the keenness of male and female university students on all guidelines and directives to obey them for the benefit of the university and all its affiliates.
